Unfortunately, I was scammed through my bank account and credit card after receiving a call from someone impersonating an RCBC employee. The scammer requested me to upgrade my online banking service (RCBC PULZ VERSION 2.0) and tricked me into providing an OTP through fake SMS messages appearing to be from the bank.
Nowadays, scams are becoming more sophisticated, using accurate personal information to gain trust. I urge the bank and the government to take stronger measures to protect customers from similar scams.
