I just received a scam message and checked this number with the Attorney General’s office to verify—it is indeed a scam number. The message mentioned a $208.15 charge via Apple Pay at the Apple Store. If I didn’t authorize it, I was instructed to contact Apple Support at 1-844-607-2743.
If you receive a similar message, do not follow the instructions to avoid being scammed. Block the number immediately.
