Today, I received a scam phone call. Someone claiming to be Officer Alvarez said that I had missed a court hearing in Portland. When I asked for details, they couldn’t answer and then hung up.
I called the police, and they confirmed that this is a scam tactic used to pressure victims into transferring money. Everyone, please stay alert.
