In Malaysia, I was scammed out of 140 RM while buying a phone through Carousel. The scammer pretended to be a housewife, speaking very kindly and convincingly. After I transferred the money, she claimed the item had been shipped, but I didn’t ask for delivery proof.
We moved from Carousel to WhatsApp for messaging, so I don’t think I can get my money back. I’m very disappointed because this money was earned through my part-time job, and I need a new phone since my old one is broken.
