I received the same suspicious message about a charge of $143.95 at “APPLE STORE – CA”, paid via Apple Pay Pre-Authorization. I contacted an authorized Apple dealer and was directed to Apple Support in Australia. They confirmed that this is a scam!
If you receive a similar message, it is fraudulent. Report and delete it immediately!
