The impostor claimed to be the police chief and two “officers” who identified themselves as lieutenant and captain from the Department of Child Services. They stated that I was absent from court, had two warrants out for my arrest, and needed to pay $5,000 immediately for involvement with juvenile offenders. He also claimed to know my GPS location, name, address, and date of birth. Fortunately, my wife had the real police listen in, causing the scammers to panic and hang up.
